The Wedding Party Dance

Nothing compares to friends and family who stick with us through the good times and the bad. And nothing truly compares to friends and family who stand up in the weddings of newlyweds. Friends and family offer support and encouragement for those getting married and are there to calm any fears so that the bride and groom may continue on together on their paths as one. The wedding party dance is the dance that helps to signify the bride and groom's appreciation of those close friends and family members and it is often a symbol of friendship. Traditionally, the wedding party dance follows the bride and groom dance and includes those who were part of the wedding ceremony and other close family members. Sometimes, individuals are called to the dance floor by name and some wedding planners choose to honor those called with special gifts or notes of appreciation.

Friendship is almost always the recurrent theme of the wedding party dance and the music is generally reflective of this, however, some planners choose music in honor of those family members who stand up with the newlyweds in the wedding too. From upbeat to sentimental to classical, any style of music seems to drive home the point of appreciation to those in the wedding party. For good laughs, sometimes planners even choose songs of light humor thus making the dance more comfortable for those dancing with new partners.
