It's been said that the best way if to tell if a person enjoys their job is to simply ask them how their day went and however they respond lies the true answer. If this is correct, it would be kind of hard for us to find out if a Digital DJ really liked their job because they don't usually work the day shift and instead are partying the night away at a job we're sure they love. Come on, I mean who wouldn't enjoy the nightlife for a day job.
With that said, it's important for us to make sure that our DJz are doing that job correctly and with a high regard for the event in which they are participating. That's why we've come up with a training system that every Digital DJ newbie must undergo in order to wipe away the trainee title and obtain the status of professional disc jockey. While we've decided not to post direct information about our trainees on our website until they've become pros, please note that even our new DJz are usually highly motivated, well-versed individuals with a liking toward entertainment and broadcasting.
So how do we train all of our "newborns & young bloods" into the stature of professional Digital DJz disc jockeys. Well when we first start them off, they come to an event with a professional disc jockey and kind of test out the water to see if it's the right temperature. If it isn't, it's not a big deal. Digital DJz style of DJing isn't right for everybody.
Most of the time though, they like the experience and they decide to pursue it a little further. After a few more events, they're ready to begin to learn the ropes. Gradually they'll gain more and more ground and learn more and more until they're ready to go out on their own. By the time they've made it to pro status, they've still only just begun while the learning continues.
As an incentive program, a DJ is rewarded points for things he or she knows and the types of events they've completed. However, there shouldn't be any worries for your event because each DJ is selected based on what would go great for your event.
If you're looking for a reduced rate for your event, you might want to consider asking about a DJ in training and determine what might work best for you. Remember, by the time one of our DJ'z emcees an event on their own, they should be fully confident and prepared to handle almost any situation and you should be pleased and still talking about how great everything went by the time your event is complete.
